In GTS, von Kluge drove his No. 19 Varsity Ford Ann Arbor/Rehagen Racing Ford Mustang Boss 302S to a 0.893-second win in his first appearance in World Challenge. Von Kluge also took advantage of the lap 18 restart, rocketing past defending GTS Champion Peter Cunnigham, Eric Foss and Paul Brown to move from fourth in class to the lead.
Brown gave chase in his Lucas Oil/K&N Filters Ford Mustang Boss 302S during the remaining five laps of the 23-lap race, while Foss and Cunningham battled for third.
With a mostly clear track after the caution period, von Kluge held off Brown and took the checkered flag.
“I couldn’t ask for anything better today,” von Kluge said. “The car worked great, the Pirellis worked great. The restart was a little bit crazy, they said there was going to be lights but there was no lights, so I just went when I saw tire smoke. The guy in front of me didn’t go anywhere and I managed to make it around him so that was nice. Unfortunately there was a lot of cautions today, but I think that helped me.
“When you come to a series like this, you have to expect the competition to be fierce. RealTime and Peter come with very well prepared vehicles, and that’s what you have to expect. The Boss Mustang really came through for me today, I couldn’t ask for anything better.”

Daytona Race Recap
The race started out well with our 6th place starting position. Bret qualified in the 7th place spot, but a post qualifying infraction sent one of the BMWs to the rear of the field bumping us to 6th on the grid. Bret was running a solid first stint and running in 4th until the 33 BMW got hit in the braking zone at turn 1. This sent the 33 BMW spinning backwards into the back of the 52 and Bret slid off the track and knocked back to 10th. After a great drive, Bret had the #52 up to the 2nd spot coming into the first pit stop. On the lap we were scheduled to come in, Bret observed a bobble as he crossed the start finish line. As he exited turn 1, he switched to the reserve tank and the fire went out. Unfortunately, Bret could not get the engine re-fired and sat helpless at the exit of turn 2. The crew jumped into action and raced back to the paddock, grabbed a dump can full of fuel and raced out to the aid of the stranded vehicle. As the #52 retook the track, it was 5 laps down, an insurmountable deficit. As Martin circulated around after the driver change and pit stop, his main priority was to bring the 52 car to the finish and stay out of trouble. The 24th place finish was a bitter sweet finish to a race that began with great promise.

Rehagen Racing Announces Opportunity for a NASA American Iron Competitors to Compete for a Free Ride at Daytona 2011
Rehagen Racing announces its offer for a 2010 National Auto Sport Association (NASA) American Iron competitor to race with the team at Daytona 2011 for free. To earn the drive at Daytona, the competitor must either win the NASA American Iron National Championship in a Rehagen Racing's RR46-C Club Racer that they've purchased or rented for five or more races, or be the top finisher of at least five qualifying Rehagen Racing drivers competing for the NASA American Iron National Championship.
Dean Martin of Rehagen Racing explains, "We're excited about this program to potentially help a club racer jump to the professional ranks. Our RR46-C Club Racer is a proven American Iron race-winner. If someone drives it to the 2010 American Iron National Championship, they'll earn a career-boosting ride in one of our Grand-Am Continental Tire Sports Car Challenge cars at Daytona next year."
The program offers a unique opportunity for the American Iron National Champion to step to the next level in sports car racing, and to showcase their talent in front of a national television audience. Daytona is the opening race of Grand-Am's Continental Tire Sports Car Challenge (CTSCC) series, which takes place the same weekend as the prestigious Rolex 24 at Daytona. Previous CTSCC races have been nationally- televised on SPEED with thousands of spectators on hand to add additional fanfare to the event.

Rehagen Racing teams with JBS Motorsports for Daytona 2011 Continental Tire Sports Car Challenge race.
The 2009 season saw Rehagen Racing and JBS Motorsports finish 1-2 in the race for the GS championship. With both teams running a limited schedule for 2011, the die-hard Mustang competitors will team up to assault the new asphalt on the high banks of Daytona International Speedway. Bret Seafuse (JBS) will pair with Dean Martin (RR) in the new Ford Mustang Boss 302R1 from Ford Racing. The JBS #37 Boss Mustang will actually be run as the #52 Rehagen Racing entry (Rehagen Racing’s long-stand car number).
While Seafuse and Martin have gone door-to-door on many occasions, the pair has never driven together in the same racecar. Seafuse will surely be right back at speed in his office-away-from-home in his Boss Mustang, but Martin will need to adjust to the new environment. “I’m looking forward to competing in the new Boss Mustang. I’ve tested these cars in the past and it’s a great package. I can’t wait!” said Martin.
JBS Motorsports is located just miles from Watkins Glen International Raceway in Montour Falls, NY.
Rehagen Racing is based in Livonia, MI.

Bob Michaelian finishes in the top ten in the Grand Am Continental Tire Challenge Driver Championship!
The week of September 13th brought the National Auto Sports Association (NASA) to Miller for the National Championships. Rehagen Racing ran two cars in the American Iron Championship race. Dean Martin Competed with his #50 Ford Racing, Sparco Motorsports, 2011 Mustang 5.0L. Dave Royce, long time racer and fellow Mustang driver, piloted the #52 RR-500C. The crew did an excellent job transforming the #52 car into an AI racer after competing only days earlier in the Grand Am finale. The championship race was held on Sunday September 19th, the last race of the weekend. Due to an engine change in the #50, and a class change on Friday for the #52, both would start at the back of the AI field with Dean following Dave to the green flag. When the green flag dropped, Royce got an amazing start and passed 9 cars before turn 1. Dean followed trying to stay in Royce’s wake. Dean and Dave steadily made their way through the field. When the checker flag dropped, Dean won the race with Dave third. During post-race inspection, the second place car was disqualified, promoting Dave to second place. A 1-2 finish for Rehagen Racing.
For 2011, NASA National Championships will move back to Mid Ohio Sports Car Course in Lexington, Ohio. This is Rehagen Racing’s home track!
The week prior, the final round of Grand Am Continental Tire Sports Car Challenge series took place at Miller Motorsports Park. The Bizrate.com, #52 Ford Mustang was driven by Bob Michaelian and 2009 Champion Ken Wilden. With the competition very tough, and an on-track altercation with another car, Michaelian and Wilden finished 14th with the final race completed, Michaelian landed ninth in the 2010 CTSCC Driver Championship. A great accomplishment for his first full year of competition.
